Please , DO NOT APPLY TO THIS UNIVERSITY NO MATTER WHAT, IF YOU DO YOUR RISKING YOUR OWN FUTURE. ESPECIALLY MEDICAL FACULTY and in general other majors but specifically medical faculty is disrespectful, rude, unprofessional and ignorant do not expect yourself to learn something from them they explain in turkish considering the fact your paying over 20,000 usd dollars to learn medicine in English yet they speak in turkish. Teaching is a joke ? just like the professors from the vice dean to assistants to everything they are a BIG MASSIVE JOKE they are money animals they will deliberately come up with excuses to fail you or make you repeat the year weather it was ( attendance, marks, course registrations) or so on . They treat students like random selection to fail them even if they are good academically , they suck the joy and passion out of you towards the major you choose . Please i request anyone reading this do not apply and keep me in your prayers because i will save you if you read this, the international office is a joke too they don’t help with anything ( registration, diploma, residency) but one day this university will pay for taking haram money each cent they took by harming students will return to them . ???? ???? ???? ??????

WARNING: HORRIBLE UNIVERSITY DON’T COME ? I graduated from the architecture department and left with a sour taste like many others students because the experience was horrible and unpleasant so i don’t recommend at all POOR ENGLISH: teachers speak turkish in the english department even tho it is prohibited and we complained about it many times because international students miss lots of informations about the courses. Teachers and the stuff have extremely poor english knowledge and lack good communication skills PROGRAM: always the same boring projects, there is no variations because that’s what the teachers are comfortable with STUFF: bad stuff, misleading, provides wrong information, late support or no support at all TEACHERS: some grade students according to the love they have for them but not according to the work provided ADVISOR: absent, rude, very hard to reach and misleading. I had so much delays and infos not communicating to me that cause me problems during my study and graduation period CAMPUS: not much to do

First of all horrible university do not apply. Just a waste of money you won’t be learning anything from it especially in the medical field you’ll just be cram studying for an exam to have multiple wrong questions and end up with 0 knowledge, And that’s aside from the assignments you spend weeks on just for the professor to grade it based on how much they like the student. The staff and professors are extremely unprofessional and not helpful at all you can never find them in their offices let alone get a response to an email aside from the professors that tell you to not bother asking questions cause you’ll fail anyways. Terrible system that is built to just fail students and get more money out of them absolutely crucial with the end of year grading even if a student needs less than 0.5 points they will not give it don’t bother asking. We pay thousands of dollars just so that we would walk into a campus that is fully damaged the ceiling is always leaking, the bathrooms always dirty, the projector never works. The attendance system is extremely crucial especially with how heavy the workload is in med school you’re forced to attend classes from 8:40am till 5:30pm and have an attendance of 70% otherwise you are not allowed to sit the final which immediately results in you failing the year, leaving the students absolutely no time to study let alone have a life outside of uni. To conclude all of this if you genuinely care about your future and love your major stay away from this university.

I put one star forcely they don't even deserve a minus, go there drop 5k dollars for every year than what ? got nothing in return There’s no proper management, no proper university professors, and the bus is so dirty it literally has fungus growing on the windows. The bus is usually late, so you either freeze to death or get roasted in the heat while waiting for it to show up. All the professors care about is making you fail so you’ll take summer courses — and last year the summer course was 70 dollars per credit. They fire any good professor, and last year they literally kicked out so many of them. It’s basically a university that gathers people who don’t even have the qualifications to get hired anywhere else.. Math courses in the engineering department are online, and the professors can’t even speak proper English, so half of the explanation gets lost because they simply can’t talk in English. There’s no midterm schedule — nothing. You can literally have four exams on the same day, and the professors won’t even care. It’s just failure after failure. If you want to destroy your life, your health, or your dreams, I definitely recommend altinbas. And as for the administration, calling them “careless” is an understatement. You send them an urgent email and they won’t reply for 3–4 days, but when you go to the university in person, you find them drinking coffee. They don’t help you with anything — and I mean ANYTHING . So you either cry your eyes out or just accept being a failure. And again, the professors act more like children than actual adults. You basically end up babysitting the professors, not learning from them. And if they notice that you’re actually smart, they will tear you apart — because they want money, not for you to get proper education.
